Augmented & Automated Underwriting

Robin hosted a panel discussion at the KBW European Innovation in Finance Conference in London last week on augmented & automated underwriting. He was joined by Marek Shafer from Vave, Dan Prince from Rethink Underwriting and Will Roscoe from Beazley.

New investment for Skyline Partners

Skyline Partners has secured $1.75 million in funding from corporate finance and VC firm West Hill Capital. The investment will be used to support the development of new parametric coverages. Praedicat partners with VelocityEHS on ESG solution

Praedicat and VelocityEHS are to develop a new ‘Green Chemistry’ offering, using AI and natural language processing to drive predictive chemical risk profiling. The new offering will provide clients with data and analytics to assess and reduce their use of hazardous materials.

Getsafe targets further expansion

Getsafe is to begin offering its digital buildings and contents home insurance product in the UK. The digital insurer is now serving 300,000 customers across Europe and is looking to move into markets in France, Italy and Austria. Robin spoke to its CEO, Christian Wiens, about Getsafe’s expansion plans on Podcast 168.
