Arturo derives analytics from multiple imagery sources to support both underwriting and claims assessment. Images are collected via satellites, aircraft and stratospheric balloons which can carry a high-precision sensor payload. Arturo also offers street-level imagery. Data is provided to insurers for a whole property portfolio or at an individual property level. Over 100 on-demand property characteristics are available including roof condition, exterior property structures and eave and ridge measurements. These property attributes are collected pre-loss, at the point of underwriting, to help determine existing issues with the property and used post-loss to support remote claims assessment. Through collaboration with insurers, Arturo reviews policy data and insurers’ claims history to keep its predictive confidence scores models updated. The solution minimises the need for onsite inspections and allows insurers to better enhance the accuracy of the data provided by brokers and policyholders.
