Ocean Ledger is a geospatial service provider specialising in coastal flood risk analysis. The company offers a stochastic surge model that uses proprietary methods to extract present-day and historical data on shorelines, seabed conditions and natural defences to assess coastal flood severity. Its services provide regional, portfolio and asset-level risk assessments for public and private sector clients exposed to extreme weather, erosion and coastal flooding. Ocean Ledger’s methods were developed from research conducted at the German Aerospace Center, with additional support from ESA and Innovate UK.
