Dr Verena Brenner

Founder, HDI TH!NX

Insurer-led innovation

When I started the company, I didn’t pretend to have the answers to all the questions. It was a new business model around new technologies and it was a green field – so no corporate infrastructure and services I was used to. I focused on hiring people who had a lot of experience in their specific area. So it’s not only about agile product development, it’s also about agile business model development. We gathered a lot of evidence. I recommend not pretending to know it all, but instead working based on assumptions in short iterations and testing those quickly to bring in experience from other fields, and from other people.

Verena Brenner, Founder at HDI TH!NX
