Norton Rose Fulbright, 3 More London Pl, London SE1 2AQ

This event is for: InsTech Members only

On the 26th November, we hosted our annual wine-tasting event. We invite InsTech members and friends to join us and enjoy an evening of fun, insights and networking whilst tasting a selection of wines from around the world, with stunning river views from the Terrace Room at the offices of global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright.

As in previous years, the event has been built around innovation in wine making and insurance. Four wine corners, each with separate themes, have been generously provided by Ernst and Young LLP, PKF Littlejohn, Root Platform, and Inari. Discover more about what each company is providing below:

EY

EY has enlisted the help of RICARDO’S, an independent drinks merchant based in the heart of Twickenham. Together they will be showcasing some wines from Italy; native varietals, harmonious blends and new wine making practices that include organic and sustainable viticulture all working together to create interesting and delicious wines to taste.

Inari

Inari has an employee whose family owns a small winery in La Mancha called Bodegas Ayuso. La Mancha is one of the most innovative and sustainable wine regions in Europe. Like the best insurance companies, these wines embody a perfect blend of tradition, innovation and a commitment to sustainability.

Root Technology

Root will be showcasing the new wines from South Africa. Teaming up with Must & Lees, an independent wine merchant from North London, they have curated a selection of wines from South Africa’s most exciting up-and-coming producers and established winemakers forging into new territory. Traditional grape varieties will rub shoulders with more surprising grapes and we’ll taste wines from some of the country’s most-awarded winemakers.

PKF Littlejohn

Since 2019 in his rare moments of downtime, PKF Partner John Needham has been working with Blackbook Winery in Battersea making Blanc de Noirs using grapes from Suffolk and West Sussex. Their 2019 vintage has just been released and is fruit forward with loads of lees aging characteristics. This will be one of the first events that this excellent English sparkling wine has been tasted!
