About this event
The drive for greater efficiency in the handling and resolution of specialty claims means that insurers and MGAs are increasingly assessing where technology has a role to play. A key part of the future tool set will be ‘claims automation platforms.’ What are they, how are they implemented and what do they provide?
InsTech’s May Evening Event was be dedicated to the growing significance of claims automation and adoption, particularly setting the record straight on the widely held belief that automation has no place in specialty insurance. We heard from platform providers and early adopters alike, focusing on their experiences of implementing automated processes and the benefits being achieved.
Sponsored by RDT and Synergy Cloud, our programme covered what we can learn from automation currently in the motor and property spaces, and as always, an insight into the motivations and ambitions of those early adopters.
The topics we covered in this event include:
- What is a “claims automation platform” and what does it do?
- How are they being applied in specialty insurance?
- What is driving adoption?
- How to make the investment case
- Hear from some early adopters on their experience of implementing and the benefits being achieved
- What can specialty insurers learn from time and money invested in claims automation in the motor and property space?
- The role of AI, where it will be trusted and for what
- Innovation pitch slots – we will hear from some early stage companies innovating in specialty claims space.
