Catastrophe models have provided insurers with data and analytics to price and manage risk for over 30 years. Every insurance company underwriting property insurance or reinsurance will use a model or be relying on results from others.
This community of model buyers, users and reviewers are one of the best examples of collaboration for the benefit of their clients and their organisations. InsTech is delighted to be running a series of quarterly “meet-ups” to provide a chance to meet old friends and make new ones.
These events are being supported by the catastrophe modelling vendors – new and old – and the first will be held on 27 March in collaboration with CoreLogic.
By bringing together key players in this niche space, we will be promoting the sharing of insights and forming partnerships that drive continued innovation.
