Tractable uses AI to assess photos of damage and predict repair costs in motor and property lines. Tractable initially offered this assessment for vehicles and launched its AI Property product in 2021 for commercial and residential properties. The expanded solution now assesses damage to buildings caused by hurricanes, floods and other natural disasters and relays the information to a homeowner’s insurer.
