Markel partners with MIS on emergency claims response 

Markel is aiming to accelerate its incident and claims response to major loss events, including natural catastrophes, by using post-disaster aerial imagery from McKenzie Intelligence Services (MIS). Markel has been using MIS’s AI-powered Global Events Observer (GEO) platform for its Lloyd’s syndicate business since 2017. This will now be expanded to its international wholesale business.

Praedicat and Experian collaborate on portfolio analysis tool

CoMeta Pro is a portfolio analysis tool for underwriters of Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance cover for US publicly traded companies, combining Experian’s data and risk scoring with Praedicat’s risk and portfolio modelling capabilities. The tool will offer two scores: one for an insured’s litigation risk exposure and another using Experian’s Predictive D&O Model to give underwriters a view of the D&O risk of almost 5,000 listed US companies.

Gallagher partners with Novidea

Novidea will help Gallagher tailor its insurance broking platform for its specialty insurance clients, covering every stage of the broking lifecycle. Novidea’s insurance management platform standardises and automates processes and will allow Gallagher to integrate into existing digital solutions in the marketplace, such as PPL.

Zego and QBE to strengthen fleet offering

QBE will underwrite Zego’s behaviour-led fleet product, which utilises telematics data to inform a fleet’s risk profile and provides suggestions on how a fleet can improve its risk.

CyberCube announced as partners for Baldwin Risk Partners (BRP)

CyberCube will provide BRP with products and services including its Broking Manager platform and Concierge consulting service. BRP’s risk advisors will now be able to use CyberCube’s analytics to help clients proactively manage their cyber risk.

Ataccama ONE product launch

Ataccama is hosting a two-day data summit with the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Council in Boston on 20-21 October. The event will include training sessions with founders of the EDM Council, live Q&As and roundtable sessions with industry analysts and a demonstration of the Ataccama ONE v14 data management and governance platform.
