MIC Global receives approval to commence underwriting

MIC Global’s Syndicate 5183 will be managed by Asta through the Lloyd’s syndicate-in-a-box (SIAB) platform. The first partnership that MIC Global will underwrite is InsureTek, the manufacturer of an IoT water sensor system that predicts catastrophic water events.

Parsyl hires new London team

Parsyl is to open a London office to serve the Lloyd’s open market via its Syndicate 1796. The supply chain insurer has also announced the appointments of Kristopher Kimble, Henry Wood and Ed Colclough from Aon, McGill and Talbot Underwriting. Zurich Municipal customers to get Previsico flood warnings

Previsico is to provide Zurich Municipal customers with its surface water flood warning system, which sends an alert if an insured property is at risk of imminent flooding. The partnership will also provide local authorities with a new district flood warning service for roads and parks.
