About this webinar

Creating trust and confidence during claims processing with military intelligence expertise and multi-source analysis

In the aftermath of a catastrophe, speed is critical. Yet traditional claims workflows, often dependent on raw, delayed or incomplete data, struggle to help insurance carriers keep pace with rising loss severity and growing regulatory scrutiny.

What’s increasingly needed is the ability to combine multiple sources of real-time data – including satellite/aerial imagery, open-source weather data and operational information like road closures or power outages – to create a clear view of what has happened, where, and to what extent.

In this webinar, InsTech is joined by McKenzie Intelligence Services (MIS) to examine how multi-source intelligence gathering techniques, drawn from military environments, are being applied to catastrophe claims. MIS combines this data with assessments from military intelligence experts and securely hosted portfolio data to deliver verified, actionable insights during challenging moments.

Drawing on their backgrounds in the British military, James Doe and David Heathcote will explain how analysis can transform raw information into trusted evidence – helping insurers respond more decisively while maintaining credibility with policyholders, courts and regulators.

In this webinar, our panel will cover:

  • The most pressing claims and trust challenges facing insurers in 2026
  • Why single-source or delayed data creates blind spots during catastrophe response
  • How multi-source, real-time intelligence improves accuracy and decision confidence
  • Turning complex data into defensible, actionable insight through structured analysis
  • Tools and approaches carriers can use to reduce dispute, fraud and reputational risk

Speakers:

  • James Doe, Head of Business Development, MIS
  • David Heathcote, Head of Intelligence, MIS
  • Moderated by Matthew Grant, CEO, InsTech
